Iliana Lazaridou was born and raised in Perdikka Ptolemaida. She studied at the University School of Civil Engineering and Public Works in Thessaloniki. Lived for many years in Thessaloniki and now lives with her family in Athens where she works.
PASSION FOR PAINTING
The artistic worries and skills she had from a young age were first channeled into painting. Numerous works of charcoal and oil are decorated in addition to the personal spaces and walls of many admirers. Through the painting seminars of the municipality of Vrilissia, she sharpens her painting skills where hands and minds are liberated to create freely. Her passion for creating and expressing herself through handmade creations led her to jewelry. All these were expressed and presented to the public through various exhibitions and bazaars.
LOVE FOR AGGIOPLASTIC
Fall of 2010 was decisive both personally and professionally, as it is the first contact with plasticity and expressiveness of clay. The admiration and love of history led her to the ancient art of pottery. The gradual recognition and demand for her work through exhibitions now had an upward trajectory that pushed her to become even more committed to what she was destined to become a business destination.
THE FIRST PERSONAL EXHIBITION
A few years later, in 2014, the first personal exhibition called “Return” came to confirm the toil and patience, achieving significant success. This as a fact, as well the constant occupation, inspired and paved the way to escape from the lab and create a place to share the joy of creation with others. Thus, Creative Ground was created, a place of creative ideas, activities and learning. A place where the journey and joy of creation find ground, shape, evolve and shine and this is the Iliana Creative Ground!
